Pensioning off the old image

Design Group 2 have been awarded the contract to create 2 new websites and a monthly e-zine for the London Pension Fund Authority.

The e-zine will be mailed to a specific target group that will then direct them to the new websites one specifically showcasing services and the second is the Human Resources website to attract contractors and staff.

Some of the elements within the project include, content management, onsite quote facilities, animated demonstrations of products and services along with web tv case studies.

In gear with the Tour De France

Halfords have commisioned us this month to create their online advertising campaign which runs on the ITV Sports website during the Tour De France.
75 variations of 5 different syles of advert feature the Chris Boardman range of bikes and the Halfords in-store range covered by the Bikehut brand.
High traffic sites such as ITV.com have a tight specification when it comes to the technical and artistic content of displayed ads, so we not only had to hit the dealine with this one, but we really had to ensure our artwork was on the 'right route and on course for the Yellow Jersey'.

Spar Launches the 'Pounds Down' Promotion Across their Stores

dg2 has recently designed and produced the latest in store promotion on behalf of AF Blakemore - Spar. The brief was to generate an effective message whilst complimenting existing national promotions. dg2 Managing Director, Adam Bowles, commented, 'we are very aware that the market is currently saturated with 'special' offers and price crunch deals so it was important that the Spar 'Pounds Down' promotion had a strong identity in store. Our visuals are going down well in store and are generating additional price conscious purchases'. Pounds Down at Spar

dg2 and The Apprentice winner have same taste...

7th June saw Yasmina Siadatan walk away as Sir Alan Sugar’s new apprentice. In the final challenge Yasmina had to create an advert for her chocolate selection box “Cocoa Electric” and it was great to see that she had the same taste in models as dg2. Back in 2008 dg2 cast Anne-Marie Burretto in a photo shoot at The Wulfrun Centre, Wolverhampton.

It's not just hot air at Ambirad

This month found us welcoming back long established client Ambirad who asked us to turn our 3D visualisation skills to the task of illustrating a heating and ventilation unit from the product range of group company Nordair Niche. Recognising that technical aspects are often best detailed by an illustration over and above photography, dg2 constructed a detailed computer model from engineering data supplied by Ambirad enabling high resolution print images to be rendered of the HVAC unit in various stages of assembly.

dg2 create Halfords Broadsheet National Press inserts for 2009

Over the last few months dg2 have been responsible for creating the design and artwork for 4 editions of Halfords National press inserts. We were challenged to give the 4 and 8 page leaflets a face-lift to make them more appealing whilst adhering to Halfords strong new guidelines. Research and feedback shows the new leaflets are performing well, showing an increase in both footfall and sales figures during the distribution period.
